Crash @ Road Atlanta 2014 SCCA Majors

Lesson to be learn, which I knew already: On elevation changes do not break if you have any input on the steering wheel, no matter how minimal you might think the input is. It also did not help that the tires were pretty much done on this session, and had barely any grip on them.

Car will probably be fixed for the May event at BHF, will be missing VIR

Sorry to see that happen. Hope you get it back up and running soon.

Most of us that frequent RA will roll off to about half throttle and stay track left @ T2 before cresting the hill. It is a much more stable transition than middle to left for T3.

Wow, that sucks, glad you are OK. Cars do get light as you crest into T2. Usually try to just keep a little maint throttle until the car passes the crest and then pump the brakes for T3. but I've also had the tail end wag on me at that same spot and it will tighten your nether regions.

Looks like the back end just got light over the crest with the wheel turned? Is that right?
