Would love to, but I destroyed my tires this weekend, so this pretty much ended my season early. Do you run with any other club or strictly NASA?

The only complain I have with NASA is their entry fees tend to be a lot higher than most.

That's because the quality of the product is much higher.

Most driving groups function as a business, meaning they provide us with a product in the form of organization, instruction, etc. I used to run with other groups that cost less, and almost every event i lost some amount of track time, once it was even 50% of the scheduled time. Add in very unqualified instructors, and I jumped to NASA and haven't looked back...very few other groups im willing to run with these days.

anyway....

here is my mildly slow and overly understeery new pb lap at the glen. the car was super dialed on street tires, but i lost the balance a little when i switched to the maxxis tires. I did some on track logging using the huge backstretch to dial in the top of 5th gear...my boost was 1.5-2psi below target, fixing that netted the most time gain over my old pb of 2:18ish.

a few laps around the Glen at NASA Eastern Championship last weekend. the ruling was that any black top surface is racing surface. so i tried some wider line on some of the turns. didnt have time to make a larger front splitter before this event, so the car is still pushing a bit. rear wing is a flat as it can go.

Nice!! Looks like you took the NASCAR line exiting turn 1. Did you find it useful?

the nascar t1 line didnt help much, i carry too much speed into t2 and have to lift slightly, and that hurt my speed up the esses. where as the normal line, i dont have to lift from t1 to bus stop.

Got ya, good to know. It looked like that np01 was way slower in the straights but in the corners was all over rear. I know there light with a small motor but I thought it would be able to keep up in the strates, was he on a hot lap? But damn that thing is impressive in the corners his brake zone appears to be much deeper then yours, great driving though and not being rattled by him in the corners. I know it would bother me lol.

NP01 are spec cars and use miata engines. he had pretty slow lap times compare to other NP01, they are class in TT2. one of them won in TT2 with lap time of 1:57.6
