The nearest station I can find on DOE is An hour away in San Jose. Does anyone know of any stations any closer, or private shops that sell 50+ gallons of it at a time?

Ya that got old and I didn't like running on empty on the last lap or having to come in early if it's a high speed track.

I'm definitely towing it down with my 3/4 ton diesel. Definitely hauling fuel with me, the reason I was asking was just that, I didn't want to haul 55 gallons of E85 the 760 miles for the trip, was hoping to pick some up near the track just to avoid it

unfortunately, we just don't have much out here, by the tracks. i guess not enough demand and i hear transportation costs are a bit high at the moment.

i'm switching to e85 soon also. there are plenty of e85 stations near my house but i don't want to tow 30 gallons with me for 300+ miles. that's why we need an OFFICIAL e85 stations near track thread.

This is a problem at every track. I carried a 55 gallon drum 800 miles for this trip with no problem, it was properly secured in the bed of my truck. Did this all last year as well around me, as most tracks are an hour from a fuel supply.

i've been planning my route to track where i can stop to get e85 on the way to track. this site is pretty good for locating e85 stations. FlexFinder is also a decent android app to find e85 stations near you. but it use gps for location, so you can only search near you, not some where else.

Last time I was out there we had to drive 45minutes away to fill up our drum.
