fun car makes me wish i had followed through on the E90 we put a deposit on. oh well. economy took a dump and now i can get the same car for 10k less. i guess it was a good decision (or will be if we decide to get one in the future again)

The E9x's are not all that... and I was about to buy one last year. They are nice, but about 10k overpriced (and rising). Plus Classic BMW is run by a bunch of cocksmokes.

I'd rather have your E36 M3 than an E92 M3.

This wasnt posted to hype up the e92 M3. Another reason I went with an EVO IX over an EVO X, all personal preference.

I just wanted to share this with fellow automotive enthusiasts. And ///M3 will always be an M3 and if someone gives me the car for 25min and says go have fun, Ill never turn them down.

I really hope some of you make it out there. It will be very enjoyable no matter what your Marquee preference is.

I think Sebastian is baned from Audi "test days" (and he drives an Audi now) because he put one really through it's paces at an "autocross" setup at at try and drive at TMS last year .

Do you really think that they are going to let you REALLY drive a $65k car for 25 minutes? They are looking for the old farts to tool around in it saying "oooh nice leather and this flappy paddle thing isn't so bad" .

I say you organize your friends to come with you and show up at a red light so you can do a stare off red light race .

daddy's BMW got enough NOS in the bottle? Huh punk? You got that flappy paddle so you couldn't double clutch your granny ratchet shifter?

Apples to oranges my friend. I must say the new M3 is the greatest BMW I have ever driven period. Makes me want to throw my E36 to the garbage and never even consider an E46 M3. Its an E60 M5 without 2 cyl and extra weight.

Since we had no instructors, I made a little detour to a parking lot and boy can she do donuts!!!! Bottom line is if I had the $$$, Id buy the car over a similar offering from Audi or Mercedes or even a new P-Car!

Hope that some of you went out and enjoyed it as much as I did! They may need some new Rears on that Black Coupe.

I still love my new EVO IX. I cant wait to drive it this weekend.

I was really impressed with the E92...granted I didn't get to drive it but the new DCT was quite impressive. I couldn't turn down a free ride. I really loved the interior and I think its the best looking M3 to date. Just wish it was a tad lighter but safety requirements now a days are really hurting performance cars. I wouldn't mind waiting for maybe a year or two. Current pricing for a 08 DCT is in the low 50's. I suspect by late 2010 you could probably nab one for low 40's. I already tried to ditch the evo once but an E46 just wasn't enough for me.
