TX 2k11 Anyone going?
I'm thinking about going and was going to see if any other Evo members were interested. I've got a few friends coming from around the state, mostly domestic owners with Cobra's and the Omni Hotel on I-10 is running a special $99 if you tell them specifically it's for TX 2k11.
It's a multi day event for those of you that aren't familiar with it where the fastest Supra's in the US and other crazy fast cars from around the US come to hang out and then run ***** out. They have a dyno competition and drag racing I believe and last years dyno winner was a 1400+rwhp Supra!

Are any/all of yall staying at the Omni? It's under $100/night if you tell them you're with the 2k11 group. We ought to have the Evo's roll in and park together at the night meet that Friday

There are going to be some sick evos out there, there couple coming from san antonio. I cant wait its going to be bad ***. I went last year, the weater was crazy cold and super windy. This year is looking good.

I saw a LOT more evos than ever before this year. There was only one making any HP worth noting and ran an impressive 9.9 i believe. Always a good time though - got a little crazy but well worth the trip to see it all.

it was awsome. tons of evos, supras, lambos. vipers etc. yeah jms broke into the 9's again with a full interior car. super impressive, sick launch. they had couple evos also killing it out there. taking down some c6 z06, supras, cobras etc on a stock 9 turbo it was an awsome event. cant wait for next year. lots of videos and pics coming soon.

Did he run at the track? - I only saw one other evo running and that was another silver one from JMS - ran a 9.9. They dynoed 65 cars that day - total horsepower was 39,139 ! Crazy!
