Tactrix cable for a day?

So, when I bought my Evo it came with three keys. The guy I bought it from had lost a key at one point and had another made. He found the key he had lost a while later. He told me that one of the keys had issues and would only allow the car to run for about 30 seconds and it would shut off. Something about the immobilizer. So I needed to move the car real quick out of the garage and just grabbed the finicky key. The car did not start and now the immobilizer is activated. I have tried the regular keys, unplugged the battery for 8 hours, pulling the ecu fuses, unlocking/locking the doors several times, etc. I d not want to have to have the car towed to the dealer. I know that won't be cheap. The only other thing I can think of is reflashing my stock map to the Ecu via Ecuflash and seeing if that overrides it. I don't have my Tactrix cable any more. Would this work? Will someone let me borrow there's just for a day to try this? I don't want to disable it, just get it back to factory settings. Any ideas?

Please pm me with your number. I would be glad to drive to you to pick it up and return it. Closer to Grapevine the better, but don't mind driving to Dallas. Truly appreciate it!

Reflashing the stock rom won't fix the problem. You can however disable the immobilizer entirely so that any key will work and long as it turns the ignition. Pretty easy to do.

Of all the views I had, you are the one person that responded. I know not everyone has these cables, but I know a lot do. I want you to know that I really appreciate it. I actually had a good friend in KS overnight his to me since no one was responding. So I will not need it now. But, my hat comes off to you sir.
