My keyed Evo X

Here is my blackened headlight housing done and then some ****ers got jealous and keyed my car. The car is 2008 with zero chips and scratch and this low life ****ers grrrrrr. I don't know how much will it cost me. I was able to save this car during hail storm last month but can't save it from the bunch of idiots.

I know Trade Secrets in Plano but I still looking other options.

So I can't wait for the insurance adjuster. I went to this high end paint shop who did mostly Lambos, Ferrari, GTR. 911 in Plano( New Concept). Estimate is $2500. Then the guy told me you got lot's of over spray all over the car. Looks like the ******* spray it with clears not directly but from a far..

You should only be paying $300-400 per panel at most. That estimate is high. The over spray will come off with a good 3 or 4 step detail (clay, compound, polish, wax) after the pain work is done.

Additional to this is there is another one in bumper and rear right panel( ding and keyed) Now Trade Secret of Plano is $3000 while the insurance adjuster but they used Service King appraisal is $2000. Trade Secret told me don't worry about the gap...whatever that means. I will use Trade Secret sometime in 2nd week of June.

^ This is what I think too, but if you have comprehensive coverage and your insurance company agrees to a shop's estimate, then I say go for it.

As long as you have it figured out with insurance. I thought you were shopping around to pay for it yourself and not use insurance. $2k sounds like a good estimate since you have 5 panels for paint, and one needs the ding repair. The shop you're choosing said to not worry about because the insurance has to pay the shop you choose. The insurance companies estimate through another shop doesn't mean a whole lot, and it's just an estimate.

https://www.google.com/#q=trade+sect...fd6dbc985cf7,1,
Not done yet. The shop is just too busy. Now It was appraised by Trade Secrets and I wonder why Trade Secret has a very good reviews and then suddenly a very horrible review. I'm about to bring my car today but those reviews makes me paranoid. I know they recommend that shops here plus Kracka used that on his old Evo.

Body shops are unfortunately very hit and miss. It takes good management to make you happy with the "experience" and their techs have to actually car so that when you pick the car apart with a fine tooth comb everything is in order. Hopefully whoever you decide to go to completes the work to your expectations.

After 36 days. Looks like google review is right.

My radiator shroud is missing.
The metal under the hood scoop is missing.
The two screw that hold the front bumper, the one in front is missing.
The rear bumper side spat is not really holding to the rear bumper( they scratched the rear diffuser and the have to replace it).
and there is an orange peel in one of the aero parts.

The paint looks ok but you know I used this due to recommended plus an Audi, Volks and Tesla certified shop.

Man......I'm just so tired coming from night shift and i still need to work to tonight.
