Boti Roll Call - August 20th, 2006 - Atco, Nj

BOTI RETURNS TO ATCO RACEWAY
On Sunday, August 20, 2006 the Battle of the Imports presented by Password:JDM returns to the Northeast for Round 7 of the 2006 Battle of the Imports event series at Atco Raceway located in Atco, NJ. Pro and Street class racers from all over tri-state have been waiting all year for the BOTI and will now have the chance to compete for cash, contingency and trophies at one of the quickest and fastest tracks in the area. The Password:JDM carshow will have just as much competition with car crews from all over fighting for a chance at national exposure. Also on the card is the the Finestmodels.com swimsuit competition and the interactive vendors midway anchors the evenings event.

"The racing action in the Northeast is intense," commented Frank Choi, Battle of the Imports. "This is one of the few tracks we visit where the number of rear-wheel drive cars equal and sometimes out number the front wheel drives. However, that's not saying that the rear-wheel drive cars are faster by any means. We know that Bisi Ezerioha is looking forwards to some stiff competition in the Pro-Street class."

Located about half and hour from the greater Philadelphia area, Atco Raceway is an NHRA member track and is home to the Budweiser Pan-American Nationals. A record number of racers including bikes, car clubs, and fans are expected to attend the Battle of the Imports presented by Password:JDM.

3 HEADS-UP PRO, 4 HEADS-UP STREET, Q16 AND SPORTSMAN DIAL-IN, AND FUN-RUNS FOR CARS AND BIKES
The BOTI will be offering 3 heads-up Pro, 4-heads-up Street, the Super-Compact Q16 (Dial-in), the Sportsman Eliminator (Dial-in) classes, and the popular "fun-run" class where racers and street bikes run for time only. Racers have a chance to compete for cash, contingency and trophies. The competition will be especially close in the Street-Tuner, Street-Comp and Street-Performance class. "Judging by the number of competitors last year, the Street-Tuner and Street-Comp class should offer some 9-second side by side performance and the Street-Performance class will be a battle between the K and B-Series Honda power plants," commented Frank Choi.

PASSWORD:JDM CARSHOW OFFERS OVER 100 AVAILABLE CARSHOW AWARDS FOR IMPORTS, DOMESTIC SPORT COMPACTS, TRUCKS, SUV's and LATE MODEL DOMESTICS
The Password:JDM car show has quickly made a name for itself nationally as one of the most competitive shows series on tour. With over 100 awards to be handed out including but mot limited to: Best Team Points, Best Team Represent, Overall Best of Show, Overall Best Performance Vehicle, Overall Best JDM, Best Female Vehicle, Best Full Size Truck, Best Sport Truck and Best SUV, car clubs from all over the PNW will be representing to get a shot at a feature in a nationally circulated magazine.

"We know that the Northeast is home to some of the hottest JDM vehicles out there," commented Mike Agustin, Carshow Director. "The Password:JDM carshow, however, offers many different types of classes including, late model domestics and trucks. We are expecting a huge turnout, especially, from the JDM community." HONDA FACTORY PERFORMANCES POSTS BIG DOLLARS
In 2002, American Honda launched its Honda Factory Performance (HFP) accessory program announcing kits for the Civic EX Coupe and the Acura RSX Type-S. This year, Acura announced it has re-launched its performance accessory program as Acura A-SPEC, a term signifying "the highest level of engineering quality", to brand Acura's program and differentiate it from its Honda counterpart, Honda Factory Performance (HFP).

Racers at the Battle of the Imports that win while driving either a Honda or Acura brand vehicle stand to win up to an extra $750.00 in cash. Racers must register at tech inspection and display the HFP decal. Makes other than Honda or Acura are not eligible for the contingency.
