Suggestion on where to buy an Evo in NNJ.
like the topic says, I'm planning on waiting for the '05, but I would like to know if anyone had any favorable experiences with any mitsu dealers in the northern jersey area.
btw, I'm in linden.

Try Ramsey..they always seem to be pleasant. I know awhile back when i wanted a 1g talon, the lady there emailed me a year later asking if i was still interested in a 1g dsm. They seem to have good pricing too...try them....you could try Randolph (owner is an *******, but whatever). Try Bell in central jersey.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.

I talked to Bell, Totowa, and a few others and most of them had no idea about anything to do with the evo. I asked about colors they're getting, MSRP, how many they're getting, how many RS/GSR/MR's they're getting, etc etc and a couple of them started asking me questions about the cars. only when i called up ramsey and talked to the sales manager, did I get a straight answer. hesaid they were getting 15 '05s in August/September, which is what i'm waiting for. I think the GSR will suit me just fine and the sales manager told me that they would most like put a $1k markup from msrp on them. Should I try to negotiate lower or is that a good deal considering it's the latest model/year?
::edit::
i'm willing to travel to NY for an evo if anyone has any suggestions for a good dealership.

i had a really good experience when i tried to get an evo from BELL mitsu in rahway. they worked out everything with me and entertained all my offers. they even gave me an extra $1500 for my mods just so i could take the car home that day.. too bad i came up $3k short. damn lancer resale value!
but compared to all the other mitsu dealers i've been to, this has got to be, by far, the most helpful and most pleasant dealer to go to.

That is correct. Maywood Mitsubishi is owned by Ramsey Group. Ramsey Group has two Mitsubishi dealers - Maywood Mitsubishi and Ramsey Mitsubishi. But anyway, Maywood is better because we have more Evolutions than Ramsey and plus, I work there. j/k
We just sold another fully loaded Evo and an RS yesterday. The latest inventory check is:
