IIRC the Mitsubishi wheel locks aren't all identical. You may have to go to the Mitsubishi dealer and get the right key.

The stock lugs are not a rare item, most wheel and tire shops or auto part store should have them.

Went to a wheel shop and they said $40-$50 to get the lock off. Called mcgard and they charged me $14.99 for a new key lol. Funny thing is there security is AWESOME (not really). Anyone can get this key. I got my vin, all that good information ready. The dude answered like he hated his job and was like how do i know its for your vehicle then because i told him i bought it private. I told him i went to a dealer and they told me the key code and he got my name and card number and bam! new wheel lock key hahaha. for future reference if anyone needs the info just call em and get a new one

Unfortunately for me, the wheel locks were Mcgard but not any of the Evo keys. I sent a picture to their customer service (they were pretty nice). However, they could not identify it and I could not get a hold of the previous owner to ask if they had the key code card still.

I ended up having Discount Tire rip them off when I was in a rush to get back to the AutoX when somone noticed I was missing a couple wheel lugs and had to switch wheels.

They make kits to take off wheel locks....

And a socket would have worked as well...just hammer her on and go to town.
