FS: 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee (priced to sell)
2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 with 25,891 miles. Has tiptronic which I found fun for a Jeep. Color is Steel Blue.
Power driver Seat
Winter Rubber Mats
Sirius Radio
Tires and Brakes have a lot of life left. Car is mint condition. No accidents, no stories.
I am selling this to get in on an 09 WRX Sedan.
Dealer offered me $16,900 on trade if I purchase a new 1 from them. I can save on the tax. SO I am pretty firm on my price of $18,190.
Since I help people with manheim numbers, and since they are a good comparison. Here is manheim numbers for my car: If you go to kbb, nada, tmv.. my numbers are cheaper then private party. AND I can guarantee you this car is MUCH cleaner then your average car. For auction cars add $400-500 for fees. Plus whatever damage lovely auction cars come with!

bump. I am not going to trade the car in at a dealer. Found a car I want through a private seller, need this gone. Make an offer. This is a great jeep, lots of warranty left, and winters coming - all sorts of fun things you can do with it.

Bit steep. Suvs are soft. market report is 16,300. for a cash deal I can pay 15,800 call if you need the cash and have a free and clear title. if you run it to Nade you will get nailed.

$16,900 is the lowest I would do. Its prime time for this vehicle. Search on autotrader there are 3 2008 Jeeps that are under $18k and have less than 30k miles they are not at $16,900 there still in the 17's. Don't forget too that you also have a doc fee AT the very least if you buy 1 of these @ a dealer. So even more money (some dealers have an admin fee, prep fee, advertising fee, etc)
3 cars in the whole country that are 4x4 and on autotrader... and 2 cars on cars.com that fit the bill ( and they are the same ones that are on autotrader)
Now auction: $16,300 is average.. this car is cleaner than average I will tell you that. Go look on the cond. report for a lot of these vehicles that are out there. I have a Clean and clear title in my safe at home. Don't forget at auction its $16,300 for that average car + fees (fees are going to run you about $400 or so + getting it back wherever, and if you don't have access to actually go to the auction someone has to do it which costs money if you don't have a buddy or someone to do it for free, lastly, if your going to auction to bid you have to possibly take off work to go which could/will cost you more $$.

Wound up buying something from a dealer. Pending sale - I pick the car up Tuesday. Sad thing is, I actually got more than what I wanted, he gave me between market ready and trade in on galves which is $17,350 ! PLUS the tax savings. WHoo hoooo. I will update if it changes
