Up for sale is my 2007 Corvette Z06. The body currently has 94k but the motor has 62k.

Back Story:

When I originally purchased this car I had decided to do research on the valve issues that these were having since my car had not had the valve service done or checked up on to my knowledge and the previous owner did not have any of that information either. So I started in on the research on the car first. Going to the dealer and asking for all service records determined that the motor was replaced by a GM Goodwrench LS7 Crate motor (no further details as to what caused the replacement). Which to me was a win because I had a newer motor with less miles.

However, the valve issue still needed to be addressed as I was sure at this point that it was never checked. So I took the car in to a local LS specialist in my area and had him check the valves. Results of that were none of the valves were out of spec and in fact well within GM spec for tolerances (I have the sheet of all the tolerances that were taken with receipts). So ultimately I was able to gain piece of mind knowing the motor was newer and the valve guides appeared to be in good shape. GM had stated that they had done a head check on their inventoried motors and my motor was replaced after this check was performed which the results of the guide tests seem to reflect this.

The whole reason I’m writing a novel on the back story is because when I bought this car I got absolutely zero information from the previous owner, and I don’t just buy a car blind which I wouldn’t expect anyone else to do. So I have done my due diligence in order to properly sell my car to the next owner.

Needless to say, this will give the next owner piece of mind that this is a solid car. The car is not perfect but with the mileage it has I would say it’s in very good condition. For that reason I am asking 32k. While this is at what I believe to be the higher range for this spec/mileage car, I don’t believe this is overpriced at all. For now I am simply looking to get that price. The car sounds amazing, drives just as good, and has been well cared for which it shows. I recorded 28mpg the day I drove it home on the highway. The Brakes were just redone in silver with black OEM corvette decals (Yes I don’t OEM wasn’t a decal however the design is OEM). I am looking for just as good of a home for this car as someone is looking for a well-kept car for their good home.
