MPG Average resets on it's own
My wife has a 2011 SE AWD and the Avergae MPG resets every night. I took it back about a week after getting it in 2011. They did not know how to fix it. I know there is a setting for it to reset automatically after being off for more than 8 hour (iirc). I made sure that that was turned off. Has anyone else had this problem?

It should auto-reset after I think 4 hours. You need to change a setting in the ETACS system to stop it. IDK if that is a user option using the MMCS screen or if you'll need DiagBox.
Either way, check out here for more info: http://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mit...ization-40223/

I think I am going to take it back and complain again...I just hate and I mean HATE to deal with the dealer service department. I have never, ever had a great experience with one. I'll suck it up and deal with it..

That is exactly what happens. Nice to know that we are not the only ones experiencing this issue. No I only wish someone has had this repaired.

I wonder if there's an App that can record our vehicles data** (MPG,etc. etc.) since our smartphones are (bluetooth) sync-ed to it already. I'll have to look into that.
**I sure there is some way to extract that info and log them in a basic database, then we can average it out by week, month, year.

I have a same problem, it's annoying, such a stupid design, pretty much makes the feature useless for calculating your average mileage per tank.
The blue-tooth connects to the stereo system, not the vehicle ecu which would get that data.
Do get that data you need an OBDII adapter, I have one, but it's for reading codes and clearing codes. I don't know if can app can access much more except realtime diagnostic info. I would guess it's fairly limited.

Bytheway, where is the OBD port on our vehicles, I haven't bothered to look yet.
