Outlander Sport Recalls
Here is a link to another recall on our beloved Outlander Sport, but only for the ones who have the panoramic glass roof. We're lucky we made the cut.

Key points:
- Mitsubishi Motors North America is recalling 3,181 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports because the panoramic glass roof may detach from the vehicle.
- The panoramic glass roof may have been installed without primer being applied before the adhesive.
- Mitsubishi said it is not aware of any injuries or accidents related to the recall.
- "No related claims have been made in the U.S. market," the automaker said in documentation filed with federal safety regulators.
- The affected vehicles were built from August 26, 2010 through March 29, 2011.

Yeah. Hopefully no one here has that Pano problem.
It seems like it's more of a procedure issue than anything else. So, once the workers remember to primer the area first, then apply adhesive - all should be well.

The only thing I can relate to is my friend's 1G doing a +130mph pass at the DSM/EVO Shootout a few years back and all it looked like was a kite about 30ft in the air!

2012-2013 Outlander Sport : KOS ECU - RECALL
Just received a letter... I'm guessing it's related to
"Frozen" ECU, LINK
Who:
2012 Outlander Sports built Dec. 26, 2011 to June 1, 2012 AND 2013 Outlander Sports built July 20, 2012 to February 28, 2013.
Why:
Due to a manufacturing error, the Keyless Operation System Electronic Control Unit (KOS ECU) may fail in low temperature conditions. As a result of this failure, the engine cannot be started and the doors, tailgate, and steering cannot be locked or unlocked.
What (to do):
Your Authorized Mitsubishi dealer will replace the KOS ECU, free of charge. This replacement will take approximately 1.0 hours to complete.
REMEMBER >
Bring all Free-Hand Advanced Security transmitter (F.A.S.T.) keys with you to the dealership. The keys must be reprogrammed to work with the new KOS ECU.
