What did you do to/for your Outlander Sport (ASX / RVR) today?

it came with 8 of these inserts they are octagonal at the tip and you have to hammer them into the existing holes on the rails that came on the car. once you hammer them in you just slide over the cross bars which are super TIGHT to get on, then you use the 8 bolts to screw them down tight....
the round knobs allow you to adjust the cross bars and then just tighten them down.

this is the basket that I want to order in the future and I want to mount an LED light bar to it with a quick disconnect to I can remove both at will.

Sssss.... That looked iffy.
Glad they went in without causing any other "problems". You are brave.
Maybe a clamp would have been better...

I went slow but it did take some muscle neither one of the metals wanted to give, the inserts were much much stronger than I thought and so was the roof rail.

I had 5 days off over the new year without even taking leave, it worked out so well, I got a tone of stuff done around the house i.e. my honey Do list. So the wife gave me a day to spend solely on the O.S.! Got to love this woman...well needless to say it turned in to two days and I am still not done... I did get the coil overs put on, that the wife got me for XMAS thanks to Erine, and the rear deck spoiler put on that my mom got me. Talk about the women in my life knowing what I really want for XMAS!
I also got a set of the OEM from lower bumper add on ground effects as well but have not had time to install them yet... do to the following day of getting an alignment and going to MDR to get the rear fender rolled.
The plus side to the MDR performance shop trip is that Mike pulled the ROM off the O.S. and was going over all the codes. And it looks like the timing from the factory is set pretty low, so there might be a good chance to pick up HP there...
It looks like hopefully next week we are going to try to do a Dyno base line pull to see HP as it sets now with the bolt on's I have without a tune. Then, he is going to fully tune the O.S. with the set up I have, showing the difference in HP and Troque.
Then, we are going to drop the EVO X Cams, valves, T.B., and injectors and do another tune so we will have 3 separate maps to work from and test from. This will be great for anyone with similar mods looking for a plug and play map.
This make it possible to go back to the factory setting and test to see the benefits of just dropping in cams on the factory setting, i.e. how much it leans it out and if it would be safe to do so without a tune, checking the AFR's, ect., for anyone looking to do this mod.

this is the before and after of the OEM spoiler that I added on over the weekend I need to get a few better out doors pics. I will try after I get the front ground effects on to get some better picture to up load.

The ride is great now that it is in alignment, not as stiff as I imagined but it is 40 way adjustable, the fronts are super easy to adjust just pop the hood and insert the turn key, rears are a different story, the strut tops are buried behind a metal bracket so I would have to tear down the rear area way more that what I had to, to install them.
The spoiler came from a dealership that posts them on Ebay, so it came with the deal install guide which was nice. the install was straight forward nothing that tricky. The only thing that was a pain was removing the original 3m tape from where the spoiler was mounted to the roof, and removing the rear spray nozzle, it is clipped in, but it is more like concreted in and no matter the finesse I used it still broke the plastic insert that held the nozzle in. did not effect the nozzle though so the reinstall was fine.
