What did you do to/for your Outlander Sport (ASX / RVR) today?

i wired my fogs independently without the use of the stock stick and just tapped onto it so it turns on under accessory. i use a switch from radio shack. removing of rear bumper is super easy, the only bxtch part about it is removing the corner tail lights. the 4 or 8 bolts 10 mm, all the side and bottom plastic push thingy you remove and its pretty much it. i ran wires from the back, along the sides all the way thru the driverside and just tucked the wires inside the plastic cover.
here is the diagram i used when i wired mines except the fuses, i didnt add those
btw where did you get that asx emblem? trying to look for that or the RVR one. cant seem to find any on ebay -,-

Quick update on the grounding straps -
Apparently on 2013's (and older models the straps are located down on the alternator's mount)
at least that's what the Tech said today when he checked on my engine mount.
They showed me on my vehicle where it was mounted and on a similar model/year AWD SE.
Well.. Then I still don't know why the NEWER models would have this strap moved up on top like what you see here >
Can any members with a 2012 or 2011 check to see where there grounding straps are located on theirs?
Just for my peace of mind...
(I know I'm being paranoid.)
Also, had the lower engine mount checked.
Plus, the dealer offered to wash & vac while there.

Thank you for checking also.
That's off a 2015, correct?
See.. That's what's bothering me.
Why would Mitsu engineerings change the location from A. originally at the alternator to B. Now up on top for 2014-2015s?
Supposing it's "better" to ground near the alternator to begin with...
>> 1. Did they find some kind of electrical fault - at that lower location?,
2. Was it an possible rust issue??
3. or is there some concern that strap (could break) and can get tangled in the serpentine belt???
AND, Obviously the provisions to have the grounding strap on top is ALREADY there, even in the earlier models. So, why did they change,... now?
Thank you for checking also.

It's just a little concerning..
Considering how many electronics and sensors are on our vehicles now.
My wife drives this vehicle mostly (but she doesn't think about such things) AND we do get crazy storms & flash floods..
I want to be sure that the electrical systems, ie: Hybrid alternator, EPS, ABS, ASC etc. are not effected in any way. Since we all know they (manufacturers) may not tell us "minor" things UNTIL it's too late.
For example(S): Toyota's sticky gas peddle, GM's ignition switch, and the latest Takada airbag inflaters...
I want to be on top of any tiny changes that may effect any of our vehicle subsystems.
> Quite honestly, if this was on a vehicle we don't own/drive, then I wouldn't care a bit.)

The bolt that goes to the engine mount seems to be none standard (at least I don't have a spare bolt that can thread into it. The other end (to the strut tower) seems easy enough, I got that covered.
I wanted to see if the dealer could have at least given me that bolt.
PS: Would you mind taking a measure of that particular bolt thread for me??

@mRVRsport the change could have absolutely nothing to do with functionality, there isn't much to a grounding strap after all. It could be a streamlining of the manufacturing process, a cost reduction or some other 'improvement' that has zero impact on the end user.
Relax and have a beer haha.

Working on that bolt size for you , work has been crazy as we are getting our first snow and an insurance inspection have taken up most of the last week , hopefully I will have time to get to that for you this weekend
I've thought about that.
