2015 os se interior glare
Hi all, new here. 1st Mistsu.... Just picked up a black OS SE this weekend. I like it so far but the piano black radio surround portion above the vents ( the flatest part on the dash) is really shiney and cause a really bad glare. Anybody else have this issue? I am thinking the only fix would be a satin or matt carbon wrap. There are no dash kits out right now, and I dont know if the antiglare tint on the windshield would work either. I hate it because the black surround looks really nice.

I'm glad I read this... I was considering buying the piano black trim pieces and installing them in my car, but if that's an issue maybe I'll avoid it. But yeah, sounds like you'll need to wrap it in some low-shine vinyl or something.

Haystack,
You might want to try some 3M matte black 1080 vinyl. (Won't leave nappy glue residue if you ever decide to remove them later.)
That should cover shine from those surfaces.

I get the glare in mine sometimes , but most of my drive time is early morning and mid afternoon so it isn't as bad as your getting . If you wrap yours please show us , It may look like the wife's ES when your done .

Thanks guys, I am still dealing with it. I will try to get a picture next time. I am considering this myself, but may let the shop do it when I get the clear bra installed. I was considering the piano black on the shift plate but its so dang reflective lol
