New Member Questions

I am thinking about buying an Outlander Sport. The one I'm looking at its the AWD 2.4 GT. Brand new. I'd like to hear from owners who have had theirs for awhile. How many miles have you logged? What issues, if any, have you had? Are you happy with your OS?

Thanks!

Well, the first thread was a bit helpful. But I'm really hoping for feedback from owners who have put quite a few miles on, who have more extensive ownership experience.

i don't have many miles (~1400) on the OS, but i have a 2008 Evo that's in nicer shape than the 2013 G37 i just bought.

only failures i've had with that car are:
1) remote key memory erased by cellphone - keys replaced with new shielded versions by dealer
2) ACD hydraulic pump failed (did not affect driveability) - replaced by dealer under warranty

otherwise, rock-solid. Mitsibishi make decent cars - i'd buy another Evo in a second ... if they put out a new one.

gripes on the OS: iPod loading time, fabric armrests need cleaned often, wife complains of glare from piano black stereo trim (does not bother me)

many more good things, would buy again.

Active Center Differential pump on the Evo. when failed, cant select between "Tarmac", "Gravel", and "Snow" ACD settings. aside from the warning light, you can still drive normally, just stuck in Tarmac setting.

1850 miles on my 2015 OS 2.4GT AWC Has been great it gets better mileage then they say it does . getting just over 30 mpg on the highway . and combined mileage is just over 26 mpg . The only trouble with it has been the rattle/clunking in the front end , ( very minor ) been repaired just some anti rattle clips for the front brake pads .

Smile Outlander SE ?

Hi, I'm new to the Forum. But I have a Question? Is this a Stictly Outlander Sport Forum? Because 3 weeks ago I bought a 2015 Outlander SE not a Sport. And I was looking for other outlander SE owners? And am I on the wrong forum?

Glad you joined the forum!

Technically there is NO Outlander forum, just the Outlander Sport

But, don't feel isolated.. You are more than welcome to participate here. Most of all the important aspects in our vehicles are very similar.

So, go ahead and introduce yourself and post up some pics of your new ride!

Upload them onto another website such as photobucket or something. It should give you a direct html link that'll make your pics show up.
