BTW, these will cost about 300 USD with shipping - discounted etc.)

SPECS:

16 x 7 5/114.3 40 mm. 67.10 17 lbs. Machined Face/Gloss but also in matte or gloss black and silver coated.

I custom did these for my Sonata, they'll be a better color match for my new Outlander.

I think this thread is going to be great. Many people ask whether this spec or that spec wheel would fit or not. Would it be possible to post the specifications (links are great but may not remain permanent) as well?

That's funny, these are the exact wheels I'll be ordering from 1010 tires this winter for the spring. I don't want to deal hub rings or anything so finding a center bore wheel of 67.1mm was key. Not many around, surprisingly since Mazda, Hyundai, Kia etc... seem to all use that size. Some stock 18" Mazda RX-8 wheels would look good on the RVR, and bolt right up.

my custom wheels for my Hot Rod

I had these custom offset Salt flats made. These were the 1st set that American Racing have made with this extreme of a negative offset, 9.5" deep lip on the rear 20"x10" wheels! The fronts are 18" x 8.5" with a standard off set of plus 20.
I had them custom painted to match the frame as well, in Viper Copper Head Paint.

Great minds think alike! DAI makes several 67.1 centerbores. I think I will stick with existing rubber although maybe this is the time to move to 17 or 18?? The only thing yet to confirm is if the center cap can be replaced with a factory logoed one.

You must have longer lug nuts with this, correct?

Sort of custom

I suppose I broke the sequence by posting comments and questions before complying with the OP's request. My wheels for the winter are from a 2006 Ralliart (custom to my RVR but not custom to Mitsubishi). The parameters are 16x6, +46 mm offset. I can forecast that this will most likely be the smallest rim in this thread both in diameter and width.

no, everything is the same. The ring is there so that the wheel is centered on the hub.

Thanks. Great info for someone, who has wheels with a larger bore. I have heard about (and seen) adapters (spacers) for using different bolting patterns other than our 5 x 114.3 mm.

I'm actually going to go 235/65/16 once the stock Yoko's wear a little more. I find the 215's a little skinny looking when other RVR's drive by me. I've also found the speedometer reads a little high compared to 2 gps I've tested it against. So the extra 0.6% circumference will help. Everything should easily fit according to this site:

http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee...=30mm&scl=50mm

going up to the 235/65/16 on 16X7 with a 40 offset.

A spacer is another potential point of failure. No thanks. BTW, you can get wheels overbored to match the 67.1 hole.
