If you go through your tires in a year (assuming because you drive them hard), I'd definitely not suggest all season tires. My current summer tire, which does not rate well in the rain, does good enough through the whole year, unless the roads get icy. I have a 2nd set of rims (stock VIII rims) with snow tires on them. You can usually pick up that 2nd set for pretty cheap. That is the route I'd suggest; just a quick set with the air gun to swap!

Whoa......new motor.......Ummm, what do you think happened?
You should start a new thread on its own. Maybe with pics, lots of questions, and maybe even a you tube video.

lol yeah. was in the back streets here in the island doing a pull for my buddy. everything was fine up till about middle of 5th then BAM! car just pissed everything. No knock light or anyhting like that, very quiet which was weird. went back up the road found a few cast iron pieces on the road. we didnt assume the block due to it being such a faint sound when oil and coolant was spraying out of the car. so we were thinking cut oil and coolant lines somewhere. well then mean time my other buddy went to grab his truck to tow me up back to his garage, we took out the flood lights and popped off my heat shield and there was a huge hole right in front of #3. my buddy felt the bottom of the block another hole down there and wait theres more right behind #3/2 almost 3 times the size of the front. so now i got to wait till the guys at english to get back from sacramento from racing to figure out from there. all i now right now is they can tow my car but not till sometime next week. not a very fun way to end my weekend.
