Can anyone tell me where some good twisties are in the Seattle area?
I've only been in the area and had the a couple of weeks (mostly commuting to work and back).

^ There are no good roads in Seattle. They all have pot holes everywhere

A good road that is close goes around the east side of Mercer Island.

Yeah, this place has a lot to be desired when it comes to nice roads. It's a bit of a drive, but the road up
Mt. Baker (Chuckanut) is awesome.

I second Chuckanut...but it's not on the way to Mt. Baker.

Highway 11 is straight until you near the coast line...and then it gets really fun. take it at 50% your first time through, it's certainly a dangerous road w/ lots of cyclists.

chuckanut is one of my favorites. i did my time trials there, and it's a fun road to cruise at 45-50 because it's ****ing beautiful if it's a nice day out

chuckanut is a good drive...plus it makes me giggle. the road to Baker is also good, but anytime I've ever gone there is usually traffic of some sort.

there are other decent roads scattered around, but nothing really long to do a cruise on really.

IMO, one the best twisty drives in WA state is here: http://tinyurl.com/3ezdm5u If this route doesn't get your heart pumping you're already dead.

^^those are great roads. Although once you get behind St Helens the roads are a bit bumpy can will prevent you from having too much fun. But going south is better than north. And that bit on 7, south of Eatonville, is superb if you can get through there without traffic & cops.

Mt Rainier Loop is a good one that lasts a while but not long enough that you spend the entire day driving. And can be done with 1 gas tank which is a +, since the 2-3 gas stations along the way over charge like crazy.
