Future plans:
The car is on the Rev Limit in fourth wayy before the traps at the track, therefore I need to send off my trans to get the "ultimate ratio" done and a lower final drive. Other than that, I just need to invest in a set of wheels and slicks to get me into the 9 second club!

Other Info:
The Evo had been my dream car since they I saw the first one in my area in 2003. I was always a DSM guy and had many mid-high horsepower setups in them. I finally gave the DSMs up and bought this WW RS from a member here. When I got the car it was already tuned on 30psi and e85 with the stock turbo which was pumping out 435awhp. One day the vacuum line that connects the boost controller to the wastegate popped off and I ended up throwing a rod after the boost spiked to the moon.
Upon planning on the rebuild, I noticed how expensive the engines are. I liked what user MitsuOrder had done with his 4G69 engine and wanted to continue on with that but I wanted to rev higher than what that block would like, so I found a 4G69 complete engine for $300. I ended up destroking it down to 2.2L with a 94mm crank and 156mm rods. This setup is AWESOME and spools the 6466 pretty fast. Virtual dyno has said 708awhp on only 31psi. At Richmond Dragway, I managed a best of 10.75@132 losing boost and momentum shifting to 5th gear. 1.89 60' on the street tires lol.. I got booted for not having a rollcage before i could do any better.

Clean ride man. That engine bay is stellar.

I need to do more reading because 4G69 block is very interesting news to me. Never knew about this.

How many miles have you put on this newer motor? Is it daily driven and at what boost?

Reason I ask, is to make sure it's a safe alternative to the 63 block long term. I also want to do a 2.2L as well via K1 94mm crank, 153mm TT I beam rods and 9.0:1 Wiseco 1400HD pistons
