update:
Got the motor out and apart, pulled the head off and discovered what happened. huge chip on #3 and a hairline fracture on #4.... pics ...

the head, valves & chambers don't look too bad but we have more to tear down. bad part is the valves may be bent.

my assistant and morale support

also the pressure plate on the clutch is scared and needs replacing, buying a new clutch.

as of 2 days ago i got the block and head back from the machine shop and they look GREAT can't wait to get this thing back together, update: i got the pistons in and ordered a ATP GTX3582R stock location bolt on turbo for the car. on to the pics

no just honed and broke the ridge. then they did the valves seals guides and all that good stuff.

UPDATE: long block is coming back together, eliminating the balance shaft and installed the kiggly HLA.

installed the new friction plate on my flywheel

kiggly HLA installed and my GSC springs and supertech valves, seals, guides and good stuff.

really can't wait to get this thing back in the car and running !

UPDATE: engine is in the car as of last night, this morning halfway mounted the trans before having to go to work. my buddy who is helping with the build is going to be buttoning up the trans and Xfer case. on to the PICS.


with some luck we may even get it started tonight.
also does any one have a TPS sensor for sale ?

yeah a very nice alternative to the FP black and flows more some of the ATP workmanship could be better and the Turbine side could use a weight reduction(tons of extra metal) the fit is tight and i have only seen 2 other evo's on here that are running it. this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...2r-pt6262.html

The car started and idled today. I still need a TPS sensor. got the intake all sorted out sorry for the poor quality pics it was due to bad lighting and cell phone camera.
