As long as this keeps going straight, there shouldn't be any issues. But if this discussion tries to take a turn - on 225s stretched across 11"-wide wheels ....

...it may take a while, or go spiraling out of control

I want ALL the purists to see it.
No one is looking out of the box... there is a reason that snake in the grass is no longer a vendor on this forum...

Yesterday and today I have been busy with a few things on the car. Pulled my front end off. Made room for the tire against the fender support and moved the harness on both sides. Cut the center section out of both front splash guards. I wanted to keep some up front to protect against water on the hid ballasts. And in the rears, because I didn't want dirt and rocks kicked up into my door jambs. If you have ever owned a car without fender liners you know it can get messy. So I have the best of both worlds. Also went ahead and tucked my throttle cable. And fixed a water leak I have been battling for a couple weeks. Rolled my front fenders. And got my new wheels on the front. Tomorrow I'll be installing coil overs. Pulling the rears. And getting the rear wheels on.

Soooo, it seems like you have somewhat deep pockets. Why not go airbags or coilovers with airbags? Static seems like it'd be no fun at all at super slammed levels.

I have a truck on air bags. So that's enough. I'm also bagging my girls tsx. I didn't want to bag the evo. Main reason is I can't really hide the air management and run a 5 gallon tank and have a small system at the same time. So coil overs it is. In the future I could upgrade to air cups if I really want. Basically keep a 1 gallon tank in the trunk where the spare goes. And in an emergency I can get 2" of lift. But static is fun. I've had plenty of static cars low enough to where ppl think they are bagged. Like my lexus.

Put in a decent bit of wrench time yesterday. Got my broadway static coil overs installed. Did some work to me rear quarters (still not happy buy it got late) and got the rear wheels on. Car rides great. Looks great. And is gonna be perfect when I have bodywork done and have the quarters widened just a tad. Enjoy my anti rally car as it sits for now.
