FS: 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo Silver/Black $19,950
Posting For a friend....
Supra owner since 1999, this is his 3rd. He knows these cars very well.
81,000 current miles
Rare alpine silver/black
Twin Turbo
Auto Transmission
I store it every winter
Several coats of Mothers wax
Following mods:
Blitz Nur Spec exhaust (best sounding exhaust for the Supra IMO)
Blitz SUS intake
2002 Celica leather-wrapped steering wheel
TRD 60mm boost gauge in stock clock location
Greddy BCC (uninstalled)
98 headlights w/ 3M clear protectant
98 turn signals
New cross-dimpled rotors (look GREAT)
Asking: $19,950 or highest offer
Please, don't waste my time or yours, no low ball offers and no trades. Thanks.
Still has the stock cats. As far as I know, this car has never seen increased boost. I can't see any sign a BCC was ever installed, which as you may know is required to even run with a downpipe. I bought it BONE STOCK.
He purchased it in July 2003 from Jim at Turbo Toys. Many forum members can vouch that not only is Jim a very honest guy, but is extremely knowledgable about Supras.
The car has had its oil changed every 3000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic and oil filters. It's had several drive belts replaced and new spark plugs recently. Also new brake rotors and pads about 500 miles ago. Everything else is great.
Exterior is immaculate for this year. There are very very minor imperfections on the body. A tiny dent on the targa, couple hardly noticeable scratches. Most people see it and think it's a new car.
Interior is also very nice. Normal wear and tear on the center console and seats. No tears in the seats or excessive wear.
All it needs are some new tires
The car does have some history, which is why it is being offered at such a good price. It is a 100% clean title. It has not been in any accidents and the frame is perfectly straight. It was a non-damage theft recovery. There was no damage to the car and it was not considered a loss in any way. The *only* way you can tell is the VIN was scratched and replaced by a DMV plate. Otherwise this is just like any other 94 Supra with a clean title. You will have no problem insuring it or getting financing. It is mechanically perfect and will easily go another 80k miles and beyond.
Why am I selling? I've decided to get a Z06. I thought I was going to keep this car for years to come, but I should have known better. I have a short attention span when it comes to cars. I rarely keep one more than a year or two. That said, I will probably at some point miss it dearly and get another. It happened once, I went through a 3000GT and an NSX and wound up going back to the Supra. Even typing this I am having second thoughts, but the Z06 would be a welcome change. Probably the only reason I'm able to sell it right now is because it's garaged for the winter and I can't drive it.
First pics, these are with the Moda R6's (old rotors, though):
