FS: NM 2006 GG Evolution IX SE
Hey EvoM, been putting off listing this car for a couple months now. Figure I'd post it here first to give anyone looking a chance before I start listing it locally and on sites like Ebay/Autotrader.
Info:
Purchased this car from a university professor who had just moved from Reno, NV to Carbondale, CO; he didn’t want to drive this car through the salt/snow of Colorado winters. I purchased it from him in late March of 2013. It’s basically been a second vehicle/garage queen the entire time I’ve owned it. Had some plans to modify the suspension to make for a trackday/AutoX car. Unfortunately my DD was stolen from outside my house a couple months ago which basically prompted me to rethink my plans. Long story short it ended up being a total loss for me, and the only way I can recuperate the cost of losing that vehicle is to sell this one . I’ve since bought another DD and will just consolidate down to one car for the foreseeable future.
Located in Albuquerque, NM. I live about 10minutes away from the local airport.
VIN: JA3AH86C76U066767 (Autocheck I ran a few months ago: http://goo.gl/ZUKIrz. This incorrectly shows 2 owners, as far as I know I'm the 3rd. Guy I bought it off of purchased it from some pastor in California).
Title: Clear. Currently have a lien on the car, so my Credit Union has the title.
Miles: 87,471 (As of 3/14/14. This # will climb slowly, drive it ~20-30 miles a week now)
Price: $19,300 OBO – Price isn’t firm, but not willing to budge a whole lot.
Modifications:
Engine:
-Vishnu Stage 1 (unsure of the exact specifics of this, was done by the original owner. As far as I can tell it’s an ECU remap and turboback exhaust, car has very good power in the mid-range)
-Full turboback (Perrin downpipe, unknown highflow cat, Apex’i catback) – very tame around the city and no highway drone
-K&N drop-in filter
Drivetrain:
-Torque Solutions shifter base & under-hood bushings
-Exedy Stage 1 HD Clutch
Suspension & Wheels:
-Stock suspension
-Stock SE BBS wheels – no curb marks, but various chips from 80k+ miles
-NEW Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position tires – installed by Discount Tire less than 1000 miles ago.
Exterior:
-Torque Solutions short antennae
Interior:
-Binary Engineering seat lowering brackets (driver’s side only)
-Mitsubishi radio relocation kit, along with Kenwood KDC-X697
-The trunk has been Dynamat-ed by the first owner since a sub/amp used to be back there (can still see the cables). I do not know if the doors have been or not.
-Product Innovations delrin shift knob
Maintenance Items:
All maintenance is up to date, the large timing belt and water pump service was done by the previous owner. He didn't have receipts, just the old parts (which I still have in a box). I have receipts of the small things I've done/purchased.
Document of maintenance he started, which I continued: http://goo.gl/FyllcF
Pros:
Car runs and drives excellently, no weird squeaks, rattles or other noises.
Difficult to find near stock IX SEs I feel, I searched for 5-6 months before stumbling upon this car on the Denver CL.
Cons:
Various small paint imperfections from almost 90k miles of use, most are pretty difficult to see unless you're looking for them, but I've made an attempt to highlight them in the images.
Scratchless dent on the drivers side rear door, can see it in one picture. Probably wouldn't cost much to have a shop pop this back out, never really bothered me though. Was on a low priority "to fix" list.
Images:
I can take a more up to date VIN proof if needed, took these pictures awhile ago.

Feel free to PM me any questions.
