No dent, I guess it's just the lighting or angle

The VIN history reports say this is a salvage car with a washed title.

Old EvoM FS ad would agree:

So i see that you have 2 catch can with breather.
Can u tell me what those two catch can hook up to?
I know one is for the valve cover but is the other round catch can next to the valve cover....is it for the crank pressure release can?

I see the ad here has some new info added to it now, but none of what is quoted below changes the reality that it is a washed title car and that's why eBay told you to list it as "reconstructed". Ultimately, this car should never have been transferred back to a non-salvage/clean title in the first place.

This is an example of why Carfax and Autocheck are very valuable purchases when someone is considering a car to buy. (Note: Carfax and Autocheck don't always catch every issue though, so it's always wise to have a professional look over the car as well).

Ever since then the car was rebuilt and inspected by a state trooper and was able to remove the "rebuilt" caption from the title, meaning that the title in hand is clear with no salvage, rebuilt, or reconstructed warnings. Insurance is also not affected by this at all. However it will show all this in the history report from back in 2005 (that's what it's for) but you can also see when it was fixed back in 2008 for a clean title. For serious potential buyers i can send you a picture of the title in hand for proof.

unfortunately i just found out about this issue when i decided to sell it 5 years later. I never thought to check the history since the title was clean when i bought it and was never alarmed by insurance. I understand and agree that the title should have never been washed clean but i also learned that some states have different laws when registering a car with a reconstructed title. I also dropped the price some to reflect this new info.

Thanks for the info though, im not here to hide any information from my car so i appreciate the link you posted im sure it will help potential buyers
