CBRD turbo- Changes!! ;)

Hello everyone!

As some of you may be aware- and some not- we are faced with a difficult situation of which we have no control over- a price increase on our turbocharger upgrades-

After much discussion we felt it was our responsibility at this point to notify you of this-

- MHI (mitsu heavy industries) whom we purchase our Stock EVO IX and X turbochargers from (via Blouch Turbo) have raised our pricing on the stock turbo cores- regardless of the quantity purchased (normally 100 or so at a time).

If you are interested in a BBK turbocharger- we currently have about 24 units at the current pricing. After these units are gone- the pricing will go up 250.00 per unit-

currently $1650 (non ported)- will become $1900.00
currently $1750 (ported)- will become $2000.00

The evo X BBX turbos- will see a similar price jump- and we have about 28 of those left at current pricing-

currently $1695 (bbx lite) will become $1935.00
currently $1795 (bbx full) will become $2035.00

The ball bearing turbochargers (which are still in testing) will also be affected by this- and we do not have firm pricing on these yet-

At this time we have absolutely no control over this increase- and tried our best to avoid it- you have probably seen that some of the other evo turbocharger companies have faced the same issue-

Thank you for understanding- in these tough economical times it obviously isnt good for any of us-

Sincerely

CB

How will this affect those of use sending our cores in to be upgraded... specifically the RAD Lite upgrade?

It will not affect that at all-

as the price increase is in the STOCK turbo itself-

the only time it could be an issue, is if someone sends in a turbo and then its not useable-

scheides-

thanks for your kind comments-

its just very unfortunate the position MHI has taken in regards to pricing- supply hasnt been an issue- its just basically a price hike-

but- it is what it is- we are dealing the best we can with it!

thanks for your support-

you would think 100 turbo orders would warrant that, but they dont-

It sounds like time for around 50 people to spend some early Christmas money and grab those last 24 BBKs and 28 BBXs at the lower pricing!

^i don't know if thats necessarily true, but people will pay whatever they pay. not a penny less, and not a penny more.

CBRD, you guys have an outstanding thing going for you guys with the BBK and BBX turbochargers, as much as this sucks it's out of your control and your in a business environment, it's gonna happen. Hopefully this doesn't affect your operation too much because it would be a damn shame to see anything happen to you guys.

Just speaking from the heart; My original BBK has over 30,000 miles on it now (mrfred owns it) and I have about 15,000 miles on my BBX. BBK let me hang with R1's on the street and the BBX helped me win the stock appearing class at MAP's Proving Grounds event this summer. The car is now pushing around 500whp (575 dynojet) with my new IM/TB setup, it just keeps getting better and better.

These. Turbos. WORK!

Thanks guys!

Just an FYI-

we are VERY VERY low on the turbo's at current pricing- so please contact me if you are on the fence- we can figure out if the turbo is right for you needs- and get one shipped-

may be 2 weeks at this point before they all go up 250.00!

thanks!

happy turkey day in a few
