AMS Pull to Push Conversion (early impression)
Just thought I would share... in my car over the past 6 years I've run Cusco Hyper Single, Exedy 3-paddle single, then once bolted on bigger turbo went for Exedy Twin HD. All these were good clutches and stood up to the abuse. The single paddle clutches were pain in the but to drive. The Exedy Twin was easy to drive.
Finally when drag racing the clutch slipped in 5th gear so I thought I better deal with that.
I upgraded my Exedy Twin to a Triple along with the AMS pull to push conversion. Immediately first thing I noticed was the pedal was half as light as my Exedy Twin, almost like a stock clutch pedal. Shifting so far is smoother then the Exedy Twin. We plan on visiting track soon so I will update this further when we do.
The reason I went with the push conversion is because Shep had mentioned it might make it easier to ride the Exedy clutch out of the hole when drag racing.
If the Exedy Triple holds up to the track abuse that is coming, and it feels like this on the road, all I can say is WOW!
Wish us luck at the track!

Good to hear man. I ordered the AMS push style conversion for my Exedy twin because the clip kept popping off.
Got it 2 weeks ago but waiting to get the trans back from shep after finding a tooth on the magnetic drain plug when we went to drain the tranny. Should be getting the trans back mid next week hopefully and have the car all back together by Friday.
Is it true that this conversion makes the pedal a little lighter? Can anyone else with an exedy twin confirm this? That would be AWESOME! Lighter clutch pedal + not ever having to worry about that dumb clip popping off anymore = awesomeness!

Leaving for track in a bit. Clutch has about 50 miles driving in town running errands past few days. Gonna give it another 50 or so then to the track!
This will be the first time back at the track in a while. We broke our 3rd front diff on our last outing just pumping 2nd and pop! Since then, have done:
twin to triple (push)
kaaz front and center diffs
btr prep uprated center diff hollow shaft
magnus intake with 63mm tb to hks intake with q45 tb (90mm!)
new ams exhaust manifold because my old mani cracked twice in same place
I know we will break but what the hell it's time to see if the drivetrain can take it. Will be running VP Import and about 2.6 bar. Will post up vids.
BIG THANKS TO ERIC AT AMS AND SHEP AT SHEP RACING FOR ALL YOUR ADVICE AND HELP. Both these guys are rock solid and answer any and every question you throw at them.
ps: Eric did confirm the pedal will be softer than the twin HD and this is normal.

Update!
The clutch was pretty much flawless, was nice to drive, and never slipped.
Here is a video from our track visit last weekend.

Thanks Mark Shead for tuning, Eric @ AMS for help on many parts and answered questions, and Shep for all his help without me buying much from you apart from oil and a diff!
