Sorry fellas for the delay. I was just waiting to get measurements off the first one I made.

Pricing will be $225.00 shipped for the tow hook beam. Options will include:
  • front license plate bracket - $100.00
  • tow hook - $160.00

This will work on a core charge system with the core charge being $200.00. Once I receive your front crash beam back I will refund you the core charge. I will also include a return shipping label so there is no shipping costs to you to return the core to me. You can simply drop your beam in the box, pop the shipping label on the box and call UPS to pick the package up.

I am accepting orders now

Yes sir but, its more than just drilling the beam. A hole needs to be drilled through the beam than an aluminum tube inserted and tapped than welded into the beam.

I apologize in advance for not getting it. You want 325 for the beam and plate mount AND I have to send you my stock beam??? otherwise it would be another 200, correct?

No worries. So for $225.00 you will receive a crash beam with the tow hook modification but, I will charge you a $200.00 core charge so if you order just the beam it will be $425.00, however, once you send your beam back to me I will refund you $200.00.

As far as options, if you want a license plate bracket that will be an extra $100.00. If you would like a tow hook that would be $160 (the price I quoted originally was incorrect sorry).

Here is what the hook will look like and will be able to thread right into your new beam:

They are available in satin black, red or yellow.

Sorry for not answering that direct. The tow hook is made by GT Motoring and is made to work with the thread pitch of the modified beam.

ok thanks for answering so quick. one last question, is there anything besides the threads on the tow hook to secure it? I am asking b/c my car is park on the street half of the time and I don't want some kid to be able to easily unscrew it by hand and just took off with it (stealing it as some might put it). Thanks

Right now, no there is nothing to stop someone from taking off with the tow hook. I may look into coming up with something to guard against that if there is enough interest.

One thing though that you could do is if you are concerned with that type of theft simply tighten the tow hook with a wrench nice and snug rather than hand tightening it. This will at least deter most since most people don't walk around with a set of wrenches in their pocket

Red locktite will do it.. you wouldn't be able to twist it out without applying a blow torch to it.

Red locktite is a great option or run a little power to it when you arm the alarm so to slightly juice the person that messed with it. Did this on my old mustang when kids kept bending my car antenna when the car was parked on the street :-) They never touched it again.

I'm interested in doing this. How do you go about installing a crash beam?

Every car has a crash beam from the factory, so it is already installed. If you take of your front bumper you'll see a large aluminum bar running across the front of the radiator support. That is the crash beam.

I can take your beam and do the work and return it to you.

If I were to bring my car to you on a morning, could the work be done in a day?
