Just sold my SSQV with upper pipe so I feel ya man. No surge /flatter problems but every time (I mean it) got to a stop light it stalled, was kinda a embrassing like you got an EVO and don`t know hot to drive Anyway now run TurboSMart but suffers from leaks and surge big time just tap the throttle and you hear that ssssssssssttttttt, Its annoying after a while. Ordered Synapse this morning and see what happens. keep you posted guys

This is the problem with evom. I thread goes on and on for 8 pages without a clear answer. I had the synchronic since i replaced it with my stock IX BOV with stock recirc config. I installed without the C port and worked great but had part throttle bucking. I had it tuned by some "great san diego" tuner and it still had the driveability issue. PS I switched to speed density. I had the car retuned in houston by Kozmic27 from kozmic motorsports and they tuned out the bucking part throttle problem. I had that car tuned 4 times and this was by far the best tune and last I might add. This is the way it should have come from the factory. After the tune I swapped out the BOVs from synchronic to stock and you can feel and hear the difference. The synchronic actuates faster and holds boost better than stock. verified by boost guage and tach.

Same as stock unless you run 30PSi which I do and you get a louder HUfffffffff of air, no TFATF high pitched squeal which gets annoying quick.

I have to admit I purchased mine used from an Evo go so it may have been tuned. It has two ports, at least mine does. If you hook up both ports together it opens too quickly meaning part throttle and surges all over the place, not good at WOT and 30PSI. However one port slows things down a tad and gets rid of the premature ejaculation events. It works BETTER than stock. It just does it is by far and away the best BOV I have ever had.

In my experience, its impossible to remove all flutter, but I think most people are running just Port B with the soft spring and no preload.

I have the OG one with port c...

I have only port B hooked up TO A DEDICATED VACUUM SOURCE, and port C tee'd with the turbo nipple for a boost source... zero preload and that is about as good as it is going to get, which is damn good
