Thumbs up lloyd Rubbertite floor mats

Well since I didnt see any evo reviews on these mats I figured I would post my own. I couldn't decide on which floor mats I wanted to buy for winter between the OEM all seasons, weather techs, or the lloyds. Well i went with the grey lloyds and I am glad that I did. I got them for $57 shipped with a discount code I found online for all 4. Fit is a 9/10 and the quality is a 9/10. They look nice and I know they will do their job when the snow hits. They are all larger than the oem mats so they cover more area. I read alot of reviews that said they have a very strong rubber smell to them for about a week or so but mine do not smell. I will post some pics of them in my car as soon as I get a chance.

Why a 9/10 and not a 10/10 ? Im curious as to what about the product that made you feel it was not perfect?

I have high standards, im sure alot of people would rate them a 10. A 10 to me would be better than oem fitment.

I know a lot of Corvette guys use Lloyds, haven't seen them used for an Evo before though. Your reasoning makes sense to me as I've seen OEM stuff that doesn't fit that awesome. Good review.

They look decent, I may order a set. But yeah I'm with you they're def not 10/10. They look home made lol.

I wish these had a lip around the edge to trap water in. Did you have to drill the hole in the driver's side mat for the hook?

The weather tech mat that I have (not made for the evo) doesn't have a hole for the hook and it's always shifting up towards the pedals, very annoying

It comes with the hole already cut out, and yeah i thought the grey was going to be darker. But I am happy with them, and they are only staying in for winter any ways.

I'd rather not have the hole cause then water can't seep through it and get the carpet all wet.

thats not going to be an issue with these mats, the water will stay in the circles and I dont know about you but my feet are no where near the hole that the clip goes through.
