If this is the same Clutch I am testing for Competition / Force-Fed Performance, I will give my thumbs up here as well. I romped on this thing at the track two days in a row right after it was put in ( broke in driving back from ATL lol ) and it never seemed to give me any issues.

So about 3 weeks ago Dan sent this new clutch out for me to try which I was super happy about since my HDSS was locking out bad. It was so bad I could almost not even get it out of gear past 7k. As of now I have launched this clutch a few times from what I can tell it will hold the same if not more the a HDSS and it really does seem to shift quite a bit better. Right now my car makes just over 500hp and around 470tq.
I have been pounding my head on the wall for about a month now trying to decide what clutch to run with my MAP EF3 turbo. I even started a thread and the majority of opinions quickly directed attention to the Exedy in either the twin or triple configuration. I just could not fathom spending nearly $2K for a clutch as I figured it would be overkill. My plans for the EF3 is to run a built 2.0L with a nice E85 tune making right around 500whp and 425wtq (or so). Like yourself, I like attending the drag strip for the pure enjoyment of the sport.

This is great news.

And the fact that I can use my current flywheel is even better.

Say for example, I wanted to run an aftermarket flywheel, which do you prefer?

Works with the 6 speed. I dont like aftermarket flywheels since they have the tendency to make the car stall happy and I really dont think they improve anything. If I had to guess I would go with the streetlite for the most part.

I never knew that Aaron about the flywheels. I was under the assumption (false assumption I know see...) about getting an aftermarket flywheel was good. I guess that is because I was an ACT guy with my last EVO. I am really starting to like what I am reading about this clutch.

This is good news to us who float around the 400-500hp range and want great drive-ability. Of course there is the Exedy twin, which I dont think is too much for a daily, but damn, at 1600, who wants to spend that on a clutch in a dd???

This will be something I look into when my twin shoots the ****, if it already hasnt.

I would compare this clutch to a Exedy twin HD no problem, but no way it compares to a triple. If you are 400+whp and like drag racing alot I still say the tripple is my favorite clutch. Other then noise with pedal in and decal noise.

So this is a better option to the ACT HD series clutchs but in no way is a competitor to a full drag race clutch. Like the Tripples, Tilton, comp twin, QM Twin and so on.
