well see my mods in sig, is possible to pass without a cat, itll be close but ull need a hfc or stock cat and you should pass. me even with no cat on my car i was off 40ppm hc at 3500, and at idle i was off 20ppm hc so i was close...so can it be done, possibly if your lucky

yes I do have a cat in place the factory one all the emissions are connected, the egc, the cat, everything is stock, except the exhaust (even it has the o2 sensor in it) the down pipe, the dump pipe (has the o2 sensor in it) the exhaust mani is stock but ported, then there's the gsc s2 cams and pte 1000 injectors......and a Hallman MBC

As of January st of this year, CA has changed the smog rules to a 'plug in only' smog test. Basically they plug a computer into your OBD port and make sure that all systems check out 'ok' without any errors. They are no longer perfoming he sniffer test.
