So i got aton of absorbence by the tire but im also maxed out so if you dont max yours, you will definitely be fine
Good info, again, I appreciate that. Did you cusromize your spring rates? What tire size do you plan on moving up to? I'm probably gonna run 15s, which I'm running now. Debating whether I should move up to 16s.

Anytime dude its what evom is for! Haha honestly, most likely since i changed the preload but i dont know too much about spring rates and all that stuff so im not 100% sure. Thats the same debate i had and i wanna go lower so i was thinking about 15's but i want 16's just cause 15's are so small lol im gonna run a 16x8 with a 195/40. Maybe in the future ill try 15s though

I'm no pro myself, I have just done a lot of research. On and off the forums. 16s are a good size, not too small and not too big, just midway. I'm just rolling with 15s for now because I like how mines sit with the car......I'm on stock suspension with some Axis rims. The rims came with the car.

Yeah i did a **** ton of research, like the max we can fit without rolling fenders and also with rolling fenders depending on the offset of the rim. Yeah 15s arent bad for being lowered, ive looked into them. The nice thing about them is you can keep your car slammed. When i get 16s, im probs gonna have to raise my car like a quarter of an inch cause the rims are 8" wide with such a low offset. I cant wait though, ima make them fit hellaflush

Unless i get the rear arms for our car, then i can stay slammed. Ill run a nice degree of camber

Sounds like a plan, whatever you want to do with your car I think you should do it. Whatever makes you happy! Hellaflush looks good, not gonna lie, but it's just not for me lol. These NY streets are not nice, I wonder how some of these guys make it on their dds.

Still don't know what I'm doing with my suspension, considering the Tein Street Basis Dampers but again...who knows.

Ohh yeah i will! Haha so excited. Excited for my winter setup next year too. Yeah it definitely looks dope but it can be a pain in the *** and roads in PA sucks all over. And tell me about it! Haha its all bags ;p and yeah theyre decent coilovers. My brother had them on his 98 eclipse, never really complained about them. Definitely have some quality to them. But hes a stance guy as well and ended up swapping to megan racing ez streets to go lower. Tein leans more towards making their stuff for racing. Megan racing leans towards street use

What's the winter setup going to be like? Sorry if I missed that...I think roads in the NE are about the same, that sucks for us especially if we're dropped. But there will always be some sort of compromise. Nothing will ever be as soft and mushy as stock suspension.

As for Tein Street Basis damper I would only assume they are geared towards more street use because of it's simplicity. That's why I'm leaning towards them. However I have heard others share similar opinions about their applications.

Any more pics of the ride?

Yeah down south has nicer roads. Oh yeah no doubt, there is just soo much preload at stock height so nothing feels bad. Yeah they are but its just the way they make their products. Yeah so if you arent a slam guy, theyll be fine. But if you want comfortability and a soft ride, you should also look into getting coilovers that have dampening options, they really do make a difference.

And for as my winter setup, i want to go for more of a rally look, always loved the look. I wanna get a set of 17s by 7.5 with not too much of a stretch but not bulky tires either and raise my car up some so i can fit that size. Ill either stick with 16s or get 17s for the winter, not sure yet. Also, some nice mudflaps which ill probably have on all the time anyways haha ill get cheaper ish rims for this though and some other things as they come up

And yess i snapped a few pictures during the snow storm that hit saturday!

So the last snow storm ended kinda frustrating..

Had to drive to work with the splash guard like this for a day before i had time to look at it

I ran right into snow that was plowed up from another recent snow storm going only like 10 mph and this is what happened.

Front bumper is cracked in 2 places where it bends under and its all bent out underneath the side pocket towards the mouth. Its not very noticeable but i notice it ahh im so frustrated with myself. I feel so dumb. So this was my wednesday night.

But in the end, i fixed it with the only 2 bolts and clips that were left.. I scattered them and so the guards are pretty sturdy and should be good now. No more snow drifting around things for me

Damn man! Sorry to see this, you sorted it out quick though. So no worries. Our cars are fairly simple to work on.
