Greetings from the future people. I have some doubts that anyone will reply to this message but I just bought an 03 Lancer ES today just for daily commute and the price wasn't too bad but the more I look at it the more I want to make it my own. Where do I begin with modding? I have very little car knowledge but now is as good a time as any to start learning I'd reckon. What's typically the easiest when modding? (Exterior/Interior)

Word of advice? Make sure it's running properly first before doing anything else. Tune up (spark plugs (boots and coils included), oil change, fluids (tranny, coolant etc) & check that your tires are in good condition.

Inspect/replace suspension parts like control arms, sway bar links & bushings. While you're on suspension invest in some coilovers or lowering springs with brand new kyb gr2 shocks/struts & strut mounts.

Some nice wheels can go a long way, see what best suits you. I'm currently running some 15x6.5 +38 offset Maxxim Air, lowered a bit, about 1.5 inches in front and about an inch in the rear on Tein Street Basis coilovers.

Hope that helps a bit.
