check your alternator harness plug and ground wire...something is wrong with the regulator...

I have the same problem. Already got a new battery. Should i replace the alternator harness plug before i replace the alternator?

no, lol... have a look at the harness and connector, if it is in good condition i.e. not corroded, burnt or damaged, then replace the alternator (regulator is built in). I thought that would be obvious, sorry I didn't clarify.

lololol. It kind of was. But there was still a little sliver of hope in that i wouldnt have to replace the alternator xD Thanks though
