install AEM cam gear...

i need to install an AEM cam gear and would like to know if someone has installed it before...

i didnt even know they made one for our car?

I don't think it's one for our car but the eclipse and it works but sorry I don't have anything to you out with the install but i think your in the best place to find out.. Puerto Rico that is..

if it works im surprised not many other people have done it. just curious on what gains would we be looking for in changing out the cam gear though?

What sort of gain would we get from a part like this? I didn't even know they made a part like that for our RA's

Like I said it's for the eclipse but works I've heard that guys in pr have gained around 10 ponies through advancing the timing.

guys I'm sorry to say this but for RA's US sucks...here in Puerto Rico a lot of people have cam gears...either from AEM or from OBX...and yes as lanzeris ralliart says it is the one from the 2.4 ECLIPSE...at least my NA friends gain 11 HP dynoed and a turbo friend of mine gain 15 doing the timing adjustment...i will let you know how real are those gains because they never showed me dyno results...

On another note what was the part number you have ? Pics ? Can you give a descrpition of the install once you get it done ? And most importantly the GAINS... Sorry for so
many questions I'm just interested

has this been installed and confirmed that the 2.4L eclispse cam gear works? and what year? the 95-04 one?

thanks. i need to order this part TODAY

and also, more importantly, What bolt pattern was it? 4 or 5? This infomation means the world to me right now lol.

I installed a 4g69 aem ajustable cam

If you have stock internals advance by 2 degres
Depending on the mod list you up the degres
