i wanted some sort of concaved look for my wheels too if i ever decide on what pair i want to get. it just seems so hard to find one since the wheels have to be wide/diff. offset in order to get that certain look =/

yea...thats what im wanting, but k3lv had to open my eyes to the fact wheels in 17" wont look like that vs wheels that are 18", 19"..kinda upsetting. the XXR's i posted up actually have the concave look no matter what size/offset. ima look into it today.

I dunno, noone other then k3lv has run something like that size. Well will have to test fit and see...

But it has come down to it guys, the rota grids will be in this week, but were going to also order the gold rpf1's and test fit to see if we can get a 17x8 +45 wheel to fit, dispite the nay sayers. Wish we had more guys to do different wheel sizes and then maybe can have a confirmed wheel size thread. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Lol Ima make it work.

I didn't say that a 17in wheel won't look like that, it all has to do with the width and offset. The wider the wheel and lower the offset, the more concave(in most cases). MOST concave-ish wheels start at 8.5 in width and a +30 offset. Anything less wide and with a higher offset will not look very concave.

The diameter of the wheel does not have direct relation to the "concave" look. Obviously if you have a 19" wheel with the same width and offset specs of a 16" wheel it will look more concave, because there is more material between the hub to barrel.

UPDATE: so the rotas came in today, was excited, went to go take a look. they sent a +45 offset. when i ordered a +35. called, they said they didnt make the +35 offset anymore.
my wheel guy dosnt want me running with spacers due to the fact the roads here are stupid terrible and everyone that runs spacers break their studs all the time. like every other week he has the same thing come in about the spacer breaking the studs, so he ordered me the gold XXR 522 wheels in 17x7.5 +35 in gold. ill roll the rear fender lips, should turn out nice. let me know what you think.

heres a pic of what they look like against a white car.

I am liking the Enkei or the Tenzo DC-Version 1 Bronze, may not be the best quality but for daily use and no track time they look GOOD

so you guys think i should go with the XXR's? or stay with the rotas and use a spacer. my wheel guy is way against spacers, and said i should just get a different set. but since its on the rear, it wont be a big deal. let me know what you guys think.
