@evo2809:
you've got some amazing progress going for you man. good job on everything you've done so far! *round of applause*
i love the vents + wide 7-spoke wheel combo. it matches the aggressive look of the car.
btw, would you mind giving me some advice as to which items i can take out of my 2004 RA to lighten it like yours? i would like to take out redundant pieces that are not really needed for daily driving.
thanks so much man! i'm learning a lot from just reading through your thread.
again, amazing job well done...cheers!

(2 large rubberized weights just behind the bumper...accesible by just lifting it up slightly...IIRC it's 2 13mm head bolts on each one..)

had them sitting on my desk at work for about 2 months before i was like meh...and tossed them...
they were pretty heavy...i actually used them as dumbells on more than one occasion on slow days...i'd definetly say ~10lbs+

but if you stick your head just under the bumper and look up they're right there...
they're for reducing vibrations and noise....
but honestly with all the stuff people do to their cars around here, it's the least of your worries....just take them off...
you'll never notice they're gone, unless you drive sitting on the engine...specially if you're modding the car

front bumper...
it's #8...there's 2 of them...
i know it's not attached to anything in the picture but they attach to the front of the sub frame or the bumper bar itself IIRC...
like i said just behind the plactic of the bumper under the car facing forward
go lay down in front of the car, stick your head under the front bumper and look up...
2 large black painted metal cylinder with rubber pegs on either side attaching it to a c shaped bracket with 2 bolts attaching it to the car...(IIRC believe they attach right almost exactly where the #6 is pointing to)
you can't miss them...unless they're already removed

I always wondered what these were. They spin right? I thought maybe rollers for if your car was being rolled onto a flat bed it would stop it from scrapping, but i guess they are not low enough.

Really amazing project. I liked the hood staying carbon more but its your car do your thing.
I'd really like the hood and trunk to be carbon.
Whens the interior coming?
I think Evo IX SSL leather interior would be best.
