Robyn the 04 ralliart

Hey guys, I’ve had my 04 ralliart for a couple months now and her and I are ready to take the next step, in my mind I want to supercharge it. Thoughts??

Looks like a solid start. I don't know of any supercharged ones but there has been talk of a superchaged kit in the past. How much power are you looking to make?

In all honesty i'm not looking for a lot of power, i've got another build im wanting to start for power. I really just want enough power to have fun on the interstate!

I don't think the charger kits are available anymore...you could adapt almost any blower to the engine...and supercharging doesn't require a manifold or exhaust work, so in that sense it should be easier to do, although the cost and availability have historically been a deterrent. If you can find a blower, do it...alternatively turbos are fun too...but then manifold and downpipe combos have the same problem as the superchargers... availability...and cost for prefab is usually way too high for what you get...

Well there's another response. Also, Cranswick is more knowledgeable about this than I am. He owned/owns a FI car.

Ah... So you did make an account. I've somehow missed this.

Guys. Welcome my little brother, Jordan.

Tell him to do his timing belt before planning any supercharger or turbo additions. LOL

Timing belt's teeth started to sheer off. You could see where the rubber had worn away down to the kevlar on the inside of the belt, and all of the teeth were beginning to peel away. Gunna do a leak down test tonight just to be sure before we start ripping the head off. But Jordan was saying he heard a ticking noise coming from the engine just before it stopped running. So I'm afraid some of the valves had already come into contact with the pistons at that point. We'll post some pics as we get some progress made.
