Problems with Projector Halo's?

I did a search for the projector halos that are on ebay and quite a few ppl have them but my question is. Does anyone have any problems with them? I have a friend that got them and sent them back cause one of the bulbs blew as soon as he put them on. I jus want to know if this or any other problems have happend to anyone else. :helpme:

one of my high beams came blown. its the assembly b/c i tried 3 bulbs and it didnt work. Once i get a dry day im going to get out the meter and fix it.

I'd just have a new one sent but removing the headlight requires removing the front bumper.

I am thinking about getting a set since most have had no problems with them.

The most problems you'll see is due to condensation inside of the housing. Everyone I have talked to about these has had that issue. I had to return a set due to a crack that let in water and ruined the halo. On my second set I noticed a little condensation so I just went down to the hardware store bought some silicone and re-siliconed all the seals.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Oh yeah and look for cracked/broken clips. Almost all the sets that came from X3 Racing have had at least one broken/cracked clip.

Mine are letting in condensation now too. I'm not sure if I should try to re-seal them or try another set. I have a feeling the second set will also let condensation in after a while.
