Updated engine bay

Just thought I'd post a pic of my updated bay. You'll observe:

-Forge DV
-New silicon hoses
-New T-bolt clamps
-mini battery
-repainted valve cover
-hks oil cap
-monster sport radiator cap
-removed washer bottle
-aem dry filter
-new turbo manifold
-new RRM decal to go along with my NEW rrm P&P head

All you turbo guys should get this. My car now pulls all the way until redline, no tapering off. You can really hear it flowing too. I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the extra hp my butt dyno recorded!

That mini battery makes a hell of a difference I'm also curious why the wastegate moved from #4 to #2.

yeah why did you move the waste gate from 4 to 2??

why didnt you move it to the center (were the 4 tubes merges) well i dont know if its possible with that manifold...

I had the original v1.0 manifold which over time cracked at the welds. RRM redesigned it with two built in braces. Not sure why the wastegate runner changed?

You want him to take a picture of the readouts of his butt dyno... no offense but that'll be a "****ty" output.. heh

gains are great on my NA DIY porting, RRM's should be even better.

I bet the runner change was due to the EGR running off #4, couldn't even begin to guess the problems from air bypassing the turbo through the wastegate and having the EGR open at the same time in that runner. It "appears" to vent directly into the DP from the #2 runner now, which is why I would assume they chose that runner on this manifold.

just my .02 though, I've been wrong before.

Well that would be ideal... but I think with this style of manifold it would be almost impossible.

I upgraded form the old version. To this newer one also. I just need to install the kit now.....
