RRm had some forge pistons not sure if they still do.Or you will have to custom make them. ( Call piston comp) I used Ross Pistons. You send them one of yours & they will send you the updated ones. The comprestion you want from 8.5 or 9.5 to 1 comprestion rate for turbo.

the evo rod fit's perfectly, but the piston won't and I can't find some pistons that fit the evo's rod I was doing some research and found that the k24 pistons fit the ra but don't know if it will fit the evos rod

Why bother with an Evo rod when our stock rods are already forged?

I agree. you should be more worried about what piston will go in the engine at all using the stock rod or the evo rod. jokiesmurf is telling you right, you need to contact some piston manufacturers because no one (doubtful anyway) on here is gonna have enough information for you RRM still had them on their website last I looked, but they won't be releasing any specs to help you choose pistons with

since everyone else is playing nice

some cheaper options apart from RRM from looking around a bit.

Ok, the stock rod is forged but no one knows how much they can handle. That’s why I want to go with some thrusting rod like the evo's since they fit.

If I wanted Piston without rod…. no problem I can find RA forged pistons, the thing is if stock rods can handle 15psi or a little more.

Correct me if I am wrong on this but isnt the pin for our pistons moved to make the 10.1 ratio. I know the rods will fit in the RA from a evo 8 or second gen eclipse https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&highlight=rod
but I thought the piston was what is different. I may be mistaken but someone on here I thought posted that the pin placement in the piston is what was different between the evo and the RA. <------ before I get flamed only talking pin placement not the actuall size of piston here.

I contacted JE buy email and was quoted 625 shipped to my house for 87mm pistons that will fit the EVO rods. Custom pistons. Soooo you know what route I am taking, now that isnt saying others may be a little less exspensive but I only contacted JE though. Just those that want a price quote. Also though it will take about a month for them to be made ect.
