Talking Resurrecting a dead post a second time!

Yes, I am bumping an old thread Amby, but I want some information. The owner of the 4g63 RA never gave us information of mating the RA tranny to the 69 block. So the question remains does anyone have a diagram of the 63 mounting points both tranny and engine, that can be compared to the 69's. I am interested to know if it was just a bell housing swap and a clutch upgrade or if the 69's tranny mounted straight in...

The 4G6- blocks are the same with respect to mating transmissions. Evo guys use 4G69 blocks and everything bolts up. You would need to keep the 4G69 clutch and flywheel to use the stock RA transmission.

Awesome, my next question is about fuel delivery... Will I need to use the evo fuel pump assembly or will the stocker assy work with an upgraded pump... I think it will be the first because the evo has a fuel return system stock....

I dont know how to do it. It's something where one has to see what's there and work with it I guess.

Correct, or maybe find a different bell housing from another 4G63 application.
