It's a roller coaster ride actually, with peaks and valleys... too many valleys! I want it to be like Overhaulin', somebody working on my car day and night until its finished...MAN I love that show!

Garrett hooked me up with a 3/8" flange/spacer for my exhaust manifold through RRE's website and I think I'm going to be able to use M10 X 1.25 X 90mm SS hexbolts instead of the M10 X 1.25 X 77mm OEM studs, for they are a half inch longer, easier to obtain, and will work. Anyone have any objections?

A Mustang in Profab's shop:

There's a 60's Nova behind it that's being prepped for paint that's going to put out 1600hp!

Okay, so I find this smaller box on my doorstep...it's from HPS I see:

My memory recalls this item I ordered from them with 6" legs:

"Well..." I think, "what else did I order? I can't recall anything else, maybe it's telescoped inside itself???" Of course I open it, and find this:

I mean, it'll work but, it's not quite what I thought I paid for! This rest of the couplers arrive tomorrow from Mishimoto.

In regards to my dilemma with finding longer manifold studs, I'm now contemplating chasing the blocks (6) 1.25 pitch threads to 1.50 to open them up to accommodate the M10 x 1.50 x 50mm studs that are bountiful out there. I'm going nuts chasing this ghost!

If you can find fully threaded bolts M10 x 1.25 and longer than 50mm, another option is to cut the heads off.

False Alarm (imagine that)! The correct size studs were available the whole time, my brain was just fried and I just couldn't see it...M10 X 1.25 X 50mm (OEM: M10 X 1.25 X 40mm)...http://www.silver-seal.com/product/6...25-x-50mm.html.

Couplers & Clamps came in today:

The manifold spacer, along with the longer studs, should be in next week, as my car is going up on a lift hopefully next week as well. Here's what's left to modify / obtain:

1. WG actuator bracket and lever
2. Down pipe
3. Cat pipe
4. Intake pipe (Hackish is modifying)
5. Oil pan bung
6. Write reflash to ECU

4g69 flange/spacer by RRE...these are laser cut which causes minor warping, so I "ponked" it (beat it with a rubber mallet) and it flattened out nicely:

..with two gaskets:

...with the manifold:

Reusing the OEM manifold studs (15mm in the block X 25mm exposed = 40mm) to mount the turbo:

Edit: found longer manifold studs on my front porch this morning!
