That is the BOV release. when the TB shuts the air blow off through that and recirculates back just behind the MAF.

ahhh, boost source...i went straight off the compressor outlet for the wastegate, and off the intake manifold for the BOV and boost gauge...

hope you're getting hackish's design, for the manifold and downpipe combo...otherwise it'll be a nightmare to fabricate the plumbing for that thing...it's shiny though...

no, it will be on the turbo manifold, and dump into the downpipe, the purpose of the wastegate is to bypass the turbine, that's how it controls boost...

Looks nice!

You could have gone the Cranswick way and got an internally wastegated turbo. But that will work too. Just more fabricating needed to recirculate it back into the downpipe. Or there is always the option of going externally wastegated. But at that low of a PSI you'll probably tick off your neighbors and local cops more than anything. lol!

I found manifold mounted, turbo mounted, internal mounted...just could find any pictures for this kit as to it's configuration. I was actually, trying to make sense out of Crans' OP which gave me a clue that it was a manifold issue...

Curious, though, I don't see a mounting bracket on the manifold in the picture...underneath side?
