I used 1g DSM parts, but the only thing i ended up keeping was the turbo/O2 housing, and the BOV...everything else i fabricated myself, or is a universal part.

yeah, super vague question, but as long as you get a manifold and downpipe custom made for an Evo turbo you could probably make most of the setup work.

First, know that a "rule of thumb" for max hp for stock engine internals is cc's / 100, ie; 2400 / 100 = 240 hp ( http://www.380db.com.au/forum/forums...ed&setCookie=1). Second, ask lots or questions, just as you are doing, and don't think that your questions are silly, for the only bad question is a question not asked.

Has anyone come close to Mitsuorders numbers yet with the 4g69 block? It was 799awhp. Curious because I am building a serious 69 block for my Evo IX. Follow it at http://Facebook.com/4g69evo

nobody I know of has done it with the 4G69 head, using a premade or homemade turbo kit. In fact most guys around here turbo stock blocks with 9.5:1 compression, 300whp is pretty easily done and is sometimes exceeded, but for FWD is more than enough. There's nothing wrong with the block itself, there are a lot of limiting factors for us regular FWD lancers, and it's not all in the engine
