I wonder if your engine is getting enough fuel at higher rpms. If it's starving for fuel at higher rpms, it could screw up the fuel trims for lower rpms, and your mpg drops like a rock.

Unfortunately, cutting out that section and replacing it with rubber hose and clamps won't do. You're going to need something a bit more solid than that.

But what's that box thing under the rear bumper on the driverside? I thought it was the fuel pump because the other thicker line runs to it... I'm at high RPM's and the car is running fine... really rich but fine. However at low rpms when i'm idling it sometimes boggs a bit when i'm coming to a stop from like 25+ mph while in neutral...

The one going from the fuel tank to injector 2 is the pinched one.. yet my car is running fine at high rpm's... maybe its not THAT bad.. but i still guess i should get it fixed... Any suggestions on how to fix it? Braided steel line?

I think that is the number in the key(legend), the fuel supply goes to the fuel rail, and the fuel rail supplys the injectors. The ecu controls each injector individually.

I pinched one of my power steering lines when removing the tranny, REALLY crimped it, to this day, Ive had no issues with this, hell, my clutch's master cylinder died first...Fell victim to not removing the modulator when replacing the pressure plate...but thats another story

Well then i should be fine for now.. You think i'm overworking my fuel pump though? To make it compensate for the decreased diameter of flow?

The pump doesn't run at max capacity with the stock injectors and minor mods. Even can go turbo with bigger injectors and stock pump, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The pump isn't necessarily working harder since it is trying to accomplish a pressure anyway, not a flow rate. you can datalog from the ecu to check your fuel trims just to make sure everything is still ok, do you have the tactrix cable?

No i don't have a tactrix cable. Thanks for the heads up Dan, I was just concerned that i might f' something else up for neglecting to repair the fuel line right away. I mean i'm still running at high RPM's fine with the car, no cutout or struggle at all.

The flow from the stock pump aint that high, unconvincingly low LPH. If you opt for a better pump your being safe, but it should run just fine

Go to the dealer and price the parts, they aren't too bad on Hondas that I've had to work on...
