Part interchange help

Ok we just got a ralliart that is wrecked that we are going to use as a circle track car. I am having a hard time finding parts cars. I need the part that the throttle cable hooks to mine is missing, but I found one that has the aluminum piece broken but the sensor is intacked. The question is what other cars and years have this part? Oh and my car is a 2004 Ralliart 2.4 Mivec.

I know where there are about six of those in a junkyard, but couldn't find the part on them. Maybe it is in a different place, but I couldn't even find the throttle cable coming out of the fire wall.

If im not mistaken you can interchange that part with an Outlander that has the same motor.

if you have the servo for it and the plug you can make a cable np

Ok, I found out the part number at Mitsu and then on here (mr578861 pedal position sensor). Now where do I get one without breaking the bank? I can't seem to find any of these cars in the junkyards and racing season is around the corner. Any help is appreciated.

The class i'm running does not have any restrictions on size. We've ran the early 90's 2.0's alot and still have several and plan to run them. But wanting to try something different. The dohc cars have to weigh 2600 pds, but no minimum on the sohc cars. We are adding 200-300 pds to our 2.0's so I think the weight advantage would be worth the change.

Ok, thanks for the help but I think we've got the part. We messaged everyone selling parts on the internet and a guy in Conneticut says he's got one for forty bucks. He's seen pics so hopefully it works.

OK, new problem. Got another pedal position sensor, but after a few minutes of running fine it cuts back to 2200 rpm's max. This set up does not seem very good for circle track racing. Is there any other throttle body that will work to bypass this and hook a throttle cable straight to the tb itself.

changing to the mega squirt engine management to be able to switch to the cable and then you can go to a TB that has a cable set up and weld it to the manifold like another person did on here. but still alot of work youll keep running into problems cause the ECU is very stuborn
